Position Overview:

As the Financial Controller at Maü Miami, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our prestigious establishment. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and strategic financial analysis. Your leadership will ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while optimizing profitability and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job duties

• Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support business growth and sustainability.
• Cost Control: Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize profitability without compromising quality or service standards.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial forecasting, to provide insights for decision-making.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

• Experience:

  Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
