Our company is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the Financial Controller being directly involved in all aspects of accounting, including General Ledger, Accountants Payable, and Accountants Receivable. Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, including Accountants Payable, Accountants Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Implement and manage all systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, ensuring quality compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
- Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with the company's financial management team, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CMA, CGA, or CPA will be considered a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or Senior Accountant in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Business Central and other financial planning software.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
