To support its expansion in North America, ATEME is seeking a Financial Controller for its Englewood office.
Mission:
As a Financial Controller, you will serve as a key Business Partner to the local commercial team and oversee the financial operations of the NAM region. You will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for ensuring financial compliance, accuracy, and insightful reporting. In this autonomous role, you will manage a variety of financial functions across multiple teams, systems, and locations, playing a critical part in the company’s success.
Main Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including cash management, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and present timely, accurate financial statements for the NAM region, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Act as the primary financial point of contact for the NAM commercial team, providing expert guidance on revenue recognition, cost tracking, and other financial queries.
- Reconcile revenues and gross margins between NetSuite and Salesforce, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Work closely with external accountants (Altios) and tax advisors to manage tax preparation and compliance, including sales tax and income tax returns.
- Handle and oversee inter-company transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliations with LATAM, NAM, and France teams.
- Supervise physical inventories (Englewood office) and ensure accurate financial reporting for ATEME Inc.
Financial Controls & Compliance:
- Develop and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain financial accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, local laws, and relevant accounting standards.
- Lead audit processes (internal and external), ensuring audit requirements are met and corrective actions are taken.
- Manage legal and financial obligations, including contracts between the parent company and subsidiaries, taxation, and inter-company accounting practices.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage treasury operations for ATEME Inc., ensuring proper management of funds between ATEME SA and ATEME Inc.
- Provide financial analysis and insights, supporting business decisions with accurate margin analysis, sales commissions, revenue recognition, and management of expense reports through Lucca.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track and improve business performance, implementing financial strategies that drive profitability.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the NAM and LATAM commercial team, offering financial insights to support regional business performance.
- Coordinate with global finance teams (LATAM, NAM, France) to ensure alignment on financial practices and business objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, ensuring proper execution of accounting processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial role, with demonstrated expertise in financial management.
- Proven experience with financial systems, including NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, TriNet, Jira, and Lucca, is required.
- Fluency in English, French, and Spanish is required to ensure effective communication with global teams.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP is essential.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment are required.

- Base salary of $85,000.
