Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
- Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, CFO and top executives.
- Supervise the investment and raising of funds to meet ongoing operational requirements and future growth.
- Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
- Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
- Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
- Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
- Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting & forecasting.
- Proven experience in financial modeling and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage large teams and interact with senior management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly in MS Excel.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
