Role: Financial Controller
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality finance and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
