Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Southwest Region Finance team based in Irving, TX. This position reports directly to the VP Finance – Southwest Region.

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Southwest Region Finance team based in Irving, TX. This position reports directly to the VP Finance – Southwest Region.
What you’ll get to do
- Support Southwest Region with financial and business analysis
- Create formal presentations and other materials for region leaders
- Design and produce relevant reports for region executives
- Monitor and analyze operating results against budget and past performance
- Build and foster a strong rapport with region executives and their direct reports
- Support other Southwest Region team members as needed in analyzing data and creating presentations
- Manage ad hoc analysis and special projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of business analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with prior financial modeling experience and knowledge of pivot tables, complex formulas, formatting, and data manipulation
- Must have the ability to create and deliver compelling and clear presentations.
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and lead initiatives
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change
- Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and tact as it relates to sensitive and confidential information
- Internal and external customer and market management
- Entrepreneurial management (i.e., consideration of long-term risks and opportunities)
