Financial Analyst – on site in Schaumburg, IL
American Commercial Bank & Trust is currently seeking candidates for a Financial Analyst to work closely with our Chief Financial Officer and other key members of executive management. This position is based out of our Schaumburg IL location. This role will entail producing, updating, modifying and creating internal reports and analyzing key financial, operational and production data within our organization. This will include regular daily and weekly reports, monthly Board of Director reports, quarterly analysis of partner production, reports as requested for internal and external audits and exams, and ad hoc reports as needed. Seeking candidates with 1-3 years of prior experience as a financial analyst or data analyst; prior experience in banking is highly desirable. Candidate must have high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office software. Seeking candidates with the ability to produce work independently yet be able to effectively collaborate with others at all levels throughout the Bank. Curiosity and a desire to solve problems and find answers are also key in candidates we see.
Key job duties and responsibilities include the following:
· Generate reports and gather and analyze data to prepare accurate weekly and monthly management reporting on the financial and operational status of the Bank.
· Quarterly review, investigation and analysis of partner production data to determine variable incentive compensation payments.
· Analyze projected financial performance of the Bank by generating actionable KPI reporting and analyses.
· Redesign existing and create new reports based upon the expanding landscape of the business.
· Work closely with key department, divisional and executive managers to help review and contain expenses and to assist in rendering appropriate investments decisions.
· Responding to ad hoc requests that may involve turning ambiguous data into actionable decisions.
· Know how to get things done independently, and also able to work in a collaborative manner.
· Ability to take direction and, if needed, take the lead, on new and developing reporting, tasks and projects.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree preferably in the business areas of statistics or analytics, finance, accounting, economics, or IT.
· Advanced analytical experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel desired.
· 0-3 years of accounting/finance or data analysis experience.

Strong analytical skills.
High proficiency in MS Excel and the other MS Office product suite.
