Position Overview:
Are you a Financial Analyst with a knack for numbers and a passion for real estate finance? We're seeking a talented individual to join our Development Finance team. This hybrid position offers a mix of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst in Development Finance, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Development and Acquisition teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting financial analysis and underwriting for affordable housing acquisitions and development projects.
- Facilitating communication with investors and lenders, assisting with debt and equity placement.
- Developing and maintaining project underwriting models for internal and external reviews.
- Monitoring and reporting on development project financial performance.
- Assisting with the preparation of materials for internal investment committees.
- Researching economic and real estate market data to assess new development opportunities.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to prepare budgets and financial analyses.
- Reviewing state and federal tax credit programs and subsidy loan/grant programs.
- Building relationships with industry stakeholders and attending conferences.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in real estate finance preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial documents.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred; Master's degree in real estate development a plus.
