Kerrigan Advisors seeks an accounting and/or finance-trained, can-do individual whose primary responsibility is to support our entrepreneurial team as a Financial Analyst. This position calls for a self-starter with problem solving, critical thinking and exceptional time management skills. The Financial Analyst must also demonstrate strong organizational skills, written and verbal proficiency, as well as the ability to complete multiple projects independently in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner. The position is part-time to start, with the potential of increasing to a full-time position as firm needs expand.

The role involves the following:
- Entering financial statement data into our financial model template
- Preparation of data metrics, adjusted earnings analyses and projections in financial models to be used in valuation assessments and transactions
- Preparing schedules, calculations and summaries of data to support data metrics within financial models
- Reviewing and analyzing dealership financial statements
- Researching market demographics, local and national economies, and other key data points to be used in presentations and industry reports
- Inserting and formatting tables, charts and graphs into client presentations in PowerPoint
- Maintaining internal databases with key performance metrics
- Communicating with team members on progress
- Attending team meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years in an accounting or finance position
- Public accounting or M&A transaction experience is preferred
- Effective communicator and ability to work on team-oriented projects
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good conceptual and critical thinking skills
- Deep experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
- Experience working in or an interest in dealerships or auto retail a plus, not required
Base Compensation: ~$80,000 - $100,000 annualized compensation (depending upon experience), pro-rated for agreed upon part time schedule, healthcare benefits and retirement plan matching.
