JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our analytics team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supporting Payroll and Accounting teams, preparing Journal Entries as needed
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and financial software applications.
· Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on effective issue resolution.
· Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
· Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with Payroll and Benefits reconciliation a plus.
· Experience in Healthcare a plus.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
