The Opportunity:
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internal strategy reviews, reporting metrics to Global Banking leadership, and contributing to Global Banking Team’s learning, engagement, and training strategy. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, proactive initiative, and strong communication skills to excel in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regular reporting of headcount, workload, and resourcing metrics to GBM leadership, highlighting key trends and themes from the data.
- Assist in building analysis and presentations for internal strategy reviews, aimed at driving growth and efficiency within the business segment.
- Contribute to the division’s learning, engagement, and training strategy by developing session content, managing program logistics, coordinating with speakers, and -supporting multiple internal-led training programs throughout the year.
- Maintain an internal library of training materials, ensuring regular updates and content refreshes to support ongoing learning initiatives.
- Support strategic initiatives from the COO and CAO by developing presentation materials for the Global Banking Team's leadership to utilize at internal and external events.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the division and other firm departments, such as Business Unit Managers, Franchise Managers, Human Capital Management, Compliance, and Executive Office.
- Engage in ad hoc analysis and workstreams to address emerging business needs and challenges.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of work experience, preferably in financial services or a related industry.
- Demonstrated curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a growth-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to proactively drive workstreams, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with strong analytical, data, and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized and diligent, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through.
- Enthusiastic team player capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau is a plus.
