We have an exciting opportunity for a Navy Financial Analyst with experience in providing financial support services to the U.S. Navy in Washington DC. As part of a dedicated team, you will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions to the Surface Navy. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers and task leads within PMS 443 and other Naval Activities to manage funding through the Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
Maintain and update program planning and execution spreadsheets across the PMS 443 HM&E Portfolio.
Monitor program funding performance against ERP reports and manage status of funds, suggesting alternative solutions.
Prepare financial briefs and status reports such as Program Objective Memorandum Briefs or financial data calls/budget drills.
Attend Budget Execution Meetings, documenting meeting minutes and action items.
Support Sustainment Manager duties including assisting with program and system health reviews.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
An Active U.S. DoD Issued Secret Clearance.
A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline plus 5-7 years of experience in financial program planning, administration, budgets, and development; or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to integrate multiple data sources using VLOOKUP/Pivot tables.
Understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), Program Budget Information System (PBIS), and Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA).
Familiarity with DOD and USN Policies and Procedures related to financial management.
Additional Information:
This role may require up to 10% travel.
Salary range: $81,153.39 to $131,873.27 annually. Compensation considerations include relevant experience, education, and skills.
