Job Details:
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will be integral to our finance department, providing key insights and detailed financial analysis to help shape our business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, financial analysis, variance analysis, ad hoc reporting, P&L, and forecasting. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial health and strategic direction.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Financial Analyst, you will:
1. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, financial risks, and opportunities.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets.
3. Analyze P&L statements, identifying and explaining variances.
4. Develop ad hoc financial reports and models to support strategic initiatives.
5. Work closely with the manufacturing team to understand cost drivers and improve profitability.
6. Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management.
7. Support the annual audit process by preparing supporting schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in financial analysis, variance analysis, ad hoc reporting, P&L, and forecasting.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
7. Experience with financial software systems.
8. A detail-oriented approach, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
