We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and business support to the company's leadership team, helping to drive strategic decision-making and business performance improvement. You will also play a critical role in the development and execution of the company's financial and strategic plans. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, risk assessments, and return on investment calculations.
2. Develop, monitor, and report on key financial performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.
3. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, working closely with business leaders to understand and manage their financial expectations.
4. Conduct regular financial reviews with business leaders to ensure alignment with financial goals and to identify potential risks and opportunities.
5. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
7. Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise and insight.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, assessing their potential impact on the business.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or a professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
4. Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with financial systems and tools.
8. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and to work under tight deadlines.
10. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
