A Brief Overview
This role will provide critical financial analysis support to the Safelite Commercial & Customer Experience (CCX) consumer-facing functions. The position will focus heavily on key business initiatives, sales and KPI planning/reporting, investment prioritization, and ad hoc analysis for all segments of the business.
Will partner closely with the VP Finance (CCX) and key business partners in marketing, digital, strategy, pricing, and advanced analytics to identify key insights and actionable opportunities for the business. Will require advanced BI tool skills, experience working with large data sets, and development of new analytical tools/reports. The ideal candidate should also have strong written and oral communication skills, required to effectively influence cross-functional partners and prepare executive-level presentation materials as needed.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify trends and opportunities.
- Interpret and communicate financial analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to support informed decision-making.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis and evaluation of CCX initiatives, including pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, A/B tests, and customer acquisition programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to gather data and insights for analysis.
- Utilize statistical modeling techniques to improve understanding and predictability of key performance indicators and business performance
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Finance, accounting, or a related field required
Experience Qualifications
- 5-8 years Relevant experience Required
- Experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate accounting required
- Background in retail, marketing or digital analytics role preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to exercise business judgment and effectively communicate with management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Comfortable working with assumptions and imperfect data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to write SQL and experience using analytics software such as R, Python, and SAS (plus)
- Familiarity with industry-leading BI tools such as Tableau or Cognos
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
