Provide leadership with preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports. Act as the financial laision/consultant to various business units within the organization. Mentor and lead junior level financial analysts. Basic Qualifications: Experience Minimum six (6) years of business/finance experience, with industry experience. Education Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related fields. License, Certification, Registration N/A Additional Requirements: May consider some combination of education and experience in lieu of years of experience. Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in financial modeling. Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in the principles and practices of accounting which would include a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Demonstrated ability to create meaningful financial reports that are actionable. Familiarity of financial transaction flow within operational and financial systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated leadership skills. Proven problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of health care and insurance industry regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Ten (10) years of experience in business/finance capacity for a large health care or insurance industry setting.
