We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights to help drive our business forward. This includes conducting financial planning, forecasting, and analysis that will assist in the decision-making process and align with the company's overall strategic goals. You will also be monitoring and analyzing financial performance against key business metrics and understanding the key trends that will impact future performance. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to work with senior management on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
2. Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
3. Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, including preparing detailed models that track and analyze functional costs and their impact on the company as a whole.
4. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
5. Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
6. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends, and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
7. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
8. Support senior management team and departments heads with in-depth analysis.
9. Understand and communicate the financial implications of any changes to project scope, and make recommendations as necessary.
10. Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
2. Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven experience with treasury, investment, budget, cost variances, interest, depreciation, Capex, and P&L.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
8. Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
9. Well-versed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
10. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive and influence business decisions.
