Financial Analyst
Pay Range: $35/hour to $42.14/hour

Overview

Our client is seeking candidates with a senior-level profile, possessing a minimum of 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) and financial analysis experience within a hospital or comparable setting.

Specific Requirement for the Role
 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum Experience/Knowledge: 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) AND financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment (Information Technology knowledge a plus)
• Experience as a Senior or Lead financial/budget analyst with the ability to train and develop lower-level analysts
• Experience developing new financial reports and tracking and reporting on KPI’s
• Financial Analysis (be able to analyze and explain financial data)
• Budget/Variance Analysis (be able to research and explain budget variances)
• Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables, sum-ifs); experience creating and working with large linked excel files
• Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts
• Experience creating, building and maintaining financial models
• Experience working with a major financial ERP (i.e. Infor Lawson)
• Experience working with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and external vendors
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Must be able to multi-task and meet multiple competing deadlines
• Must be a reasonably quick learner. 
• Must be able to work independently under general direction.
