Seeking candidates with a senior-level profile,possessing a minimum of 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting)and financial analysis experience within a hospital or comparable setting. Itis important to note that we are not considering candidates at the Directorlevel or higher. Must-Haves for the Role:
1. Education:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
2. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of accounting, specifically fundaccounting, and financial analysis experience in a hospital or similarenvironment.
Experience as a Senior or Lead Financial/Budget Analyst,with the ability to train and develop junior analysts.
Demonstrated experience in developing new financialreports, tracking and reporting on KPIs, budget/variance analysis (researchingand explaining variances), and financial modeling (creating, building, andmaintaining).
3. Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel proficiency, including v-lookups, pivottables, sum-ifs, and working with large linked files.
Familiarity with major financial ERPs, such as InforLawson.
Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chartof Accounts.
4. Other Skills:
Strong analytical ability to interpret and explainfinancial data.
Extremely detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Proven ability to multi-task and meet competingdeadlines.
Capable of working independently under general direction.
A quick learner able to adapt to new processes or tools.
5. Interpersonal and Team Skills:
Experience working collaboratively with Finance, AccountsPayable, Purchasing, and external vendors.
