The FP&A Financial Analyst I is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the organization. This position is also responsible for supporting our FP&A team and business leaders through the use of Workday Adaptive Planning, our financial budgeting and forecasting platform. This position is expected to compile managerial reporting, which will facilitate positive decision making by finance, management, or investors. The FP&A Financial Analyst I conducts ad hoc analysis related to monthly reporting and acts as primary point of contact for distribution and troubleshooting. Open to new college graduates!
What you will do to contribute to the company's success
- Support Financial Planning & Analysis team with forecasting and analysis and monthly operating results.
- Interact closely with management in performing ad hoc analysis related to monthly operating results. Receive and respond to questions from the organization related to monthly results.
- Prepare routine reports (financial results, financial metrics, statistical, competitor, market share, etc.) for executives, management, and others; aid in the production of complete and accurate organizational profit and loss statements.
- Assist FP&A team in the production of a complete and accurate 5-year operational capital forecasts.
- Assist FP&A team in the production of a complete and accurate annual budget.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies.
- Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization's Values.
- Maintain a positive professional work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities required
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills required
- Ability to assemble and deliver presentations in clear, compelling ways required
- Must be able to maintain confidential information
