As a Financial Analyst with our Client, an established, yet rapidly growing investment firm, you'll be at the forefront of the Client's financial operations, working alongside their experienced team of finance and accounting professionals.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. Working closely with senior finance professionals, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and decision support.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, including variance analysis and explanations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, providing actionable insights to support strategic initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including operations, sales, and marketing, to understand business drivers and ensure alignment of financial goals.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance or FP&A role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with financial planning software or ERP systems is a plus.
