Summary:
We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst with a passion for healthcare finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis, preferably within a hospital or similar environment. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and interpretation of data to support decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, including tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform budget and variance analysis, investigating and explaining budget discrepancies as needed.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills, including v-look ups, pivot tables, and sum-ifs, to create and manage complex financial models.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain a deep understanding of the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to validate invoices and ensure adherence to contract terms.
- Take ownership of financial processes, from invoice validation to final payment execution, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently under general direction, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting and financial analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with fund accounting and Information Technology knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with financial ERPs, such as Infor Lawson.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.
