We're searching for a highly-analytical and experienced Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and strategy of our company. You will be a critical part of our finance team, using your expertise in financial modeling, budgeting and multiple areas of financial analysis. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a knack for translating complex financial concepts into understandable terms, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct detailed financial analyses and reports on both a regular and ad hoc basis.
2. Create advanced financial models for business forecasting and variance analysis.
3. Prepare comprehensive monthly reports using pivot tables, Vlookup, and other Excel functions.
4. Perform budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision-making.
5. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
6. Develop financial metrics and KPIs to track business performance and highlight areas of improvement.
7. Analyze financial data and create financial strategies for decision support.
8. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
9. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
10. Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) in Finance/Accounting would be an advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and business forecasting.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functions such as pivot tables and Vlookups.
4. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
5. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
6. Proficient in financial software and database systems.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
8. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize goals, and remain calm under pressure.
10. Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
11. Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
