We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers and analytics, and has a strong understanding of partnership accounting. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing accurate and data-based information on the company’s profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. You will research and analyze financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports, and monitor financial movements.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with financial team members to analyze financial data, identify trends, and assess financial performance.
2. Participate in budgeting processes, including planning, forecasting, and reporting.
3. Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking for decision support.
4. Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance.
5. Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc.
6. Monitor variances, investigate inconsistencies, and propose corrective actions.
7. Implement cost analysis improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
8. Participate in the development of long-term business plans.
9. Understand and adhere to all financial and reporting regulations, including those related to auditing, taxes, and required financial disclosures.
10. Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (such as CFA/CPA) is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in partnership accounting.
3. Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
4. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
5. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and create meaningful, understandable models for business use.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
10. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
