Job Description:

Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Senior Finance Analyst at GDIT. Working on the Defense Agencies Finance team, you’ll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. Our mission depends on a Financial Analyst joining our Defense Agencies Finance Team supporting the Enterprise Mission Support Sector. The position offers the flexibility of a Hybrid work environment between our Falls Church Office and home.

How a Financial Analyst will make an impact:

• Provide strong Financial Analysis and Reporting for our DLA/DMLSS/DMDC Portfolio, annual revenue approximately $30M.
• Responsibility for financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Financial Experience with multiple government contract types (i.e. FFP, CPFF etc...)
• Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple departments and levels of an organization
• Identify, Track, Manage any financial risks and follow through to resolution.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as FAR, CAS, SOX and other government regulations. Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Analytical and problem solving mindset
• Prepare financial updates, EACs and other corporate reporting requirements monthly close and forecasting process.
• Ability to prepare / review pricing with recommendations for Management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and 2+ years of related experience
• Experience with government contracting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and/or complex modeling.
• Experience with Excel and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Hybrid Work Location at Falls Church Office 3x per week.
• US Person required

The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
