Financial Analyst, Entry - Basic Commerce & Industries Inc

Basic Commerce and Industries, Inc. (BCI) is a systems engineering company based in Moorestown, NJ, with a focus on providing software support to government and private industry clients in the defense, space, and commercial systems sectors. BCI has a strong track record in systems & computer program design, development, and maintenance, particularly in support of the U.S. Navy's ship, unmanned air, and combat systems. BCI has an immediate opening for an entry-level full-time Financial Analyst to support BCI Corporate operations with activities across all Divisions. Relocation is not available for this position.

Experience Required:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field as well as 1 - 2 years' experience related to the description of duties. Successful candidate will be required to possess strong analytical skills, experience in financial statements and financial reporting, and knowledge of financial principles and practices. Proficiency (i.e. at least two (2) years' experience) with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio is required. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate professionally and effectively. Proficiency in financial analysis software, such as Domo, Google Analytics, Tableau is a plus, as well as project management tools like Asana and Monday. A working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) Management & Reporting is preferred. Candidates with experience in Jamis, Deltek, and/or Cobra software would also be a plus. An ideal candidate will have prior, relevant experience who worked for the Defense Industrial Base, Department of Defense (DoD), or the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).

Description of Duties:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Analyst with strong project management skills. The BCI Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) Team is looking for a professional that is a self-motivated person with a strong education in business, finance, or accounting and who has experience in aspects of Program Finance, Earned Value Management, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Work would include assisting with Jamis ERP migration, Business Division & project-based Financial Reporting, and Budget and Financial Forecasting.
