Job Duties and Responsibilities:Take advantage of the vast opportunities and regular C-Suite exposure as part of the Corporate Planning and Strategy team at DISH Network. Develop a strong network of working relationships with groups across the business to effectively inform a holistic, consolidated view of the enterprise financials. Learn about all lines of business, build and maintain financial models, develop presentations, and communicate regularly with finance senior leadership. Bring your curiosity, detail-oriented nature, and understanding of Accounting and Finance principles to work every day. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all departments including product, operations, marketing, and business development to provide business insights and recommendations on how to improve the financial results
- Collaborate with various team members to construct the annual variable cost budget
- Develop detailed general and administrative expense budgets utilizing a bottoms-up approach for DISH Network
- Prepare quarterly presentations and support to be presented to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
- Design and manage multiple models to track financial progress, identify trends, and perform ad hoc analysis to inform our leadership team; gain insight through interaction with departments across the company
- Analyze and interpret financial data and communicate explanations and recommendations to company leadership; develop understanding of key drivers of results
- Collaborate with operating groups to suggest ideas to improve performance for all areas of the company
- Utilize your creativity to develop solutions outside-of-the-box
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- MBA or MS-Finance is a plus but not required
- 3-5 years prior work experience in related field preferred, but not required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bring a positive attitude every day
- Experience evaluating financials for a subscriber-focused business
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with some knowledge of database basics (e.g. Microsoft Access, SQL)
- Proficient in Google Suite - primarily Sheets and Slides
- Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials; experience presenting and working with C-level executives
- Ability to define problems, seek and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Experience with or ability to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel
- Excellent organization and time management skills; results-oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

Salary Range:USD $63150.00 - $90000.00 / Year
