The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with Americas regional financial reporting and submission of financial data to Global HQ. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data. Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist RFMs with monthly financial submission to UK in Hyperion
- Prepare weekly flash templates for the US regions
- Assist with completion of ad hoc reporting
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets/forecasts
- Update and maintain monthly financial review files
- Assist RFMs with completion of UK HQ ad hoc reports
- Assist with preparation of annual audit responses
- Assist Regional Finance Managers with annual budget preparation
- Work with manpower planning/T&A teams to develop payroll reporting
- Ensure adherence to Group policies on accounting and controls.
- Other duties as assigned
Required skills:
- Relevant financial qualification or qualification by experience.
- Expertise in Excel
- Hyperion Financial Management/SmartView experience a plus
- Must have strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within mission critical deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.
- Aviation industry experience is a plus.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to look at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor within a very hectic work environment.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally utilizing various transportation methods.
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
