This position is based out of our Burlington, MA headquarters location, where we work a required hybrid schedule of in-office on Monday - Thursday and remote on Fridays

Our Financial Analyst, Commercial will be responsible for the development of accurate profit forecasting models, analyzing financial performance, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This individual will also support the annual budgeting process and our forecasting activities. This position reports to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and is an individual contributor position.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Participate in the development and maintenance of comprehensive profit forecasting models, incorporating revenue, cost, and margin variables
• Prepare periodic profit forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual) and assess variances against actual results
• Identify risks and opportunities in profit projections and recommend actionable strategies

• Contribute to the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes
• Provide scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of potential business decisions

• Analyze key financial metrics and trends to inform forecasting assumptions
• Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholder presentation, highlighting insights and recommendations

• Become a subject matter expert and administrator for our forecasting and budgeting tools

In addition, we are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field; an MBA or a Master of Finance is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in financial planning, profit forecasting, or a related role
• Proven track record in developing financial models and providing strategic insights
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and forecasting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy of work
