Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA Four-year degree with emphasis in Finance or Accounting or Business
- 2 years' experience in financial reporting and analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Oracle, Hyperion
- Must be proficient with computer systems and programs. Advanced Excel skills required, may be validated by assessment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, detail orientated.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAP, with solid analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal managerial skills, self-motivated and team-oriented skills
- Flexible and a strong desire to learn.
- 2-5 Years - Manufacturing Accounting Experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as in financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Preferred Experience - 2 to 5 years of directly related work experience - standard cost system, manufacturing, aerospace. Hyperion / Oracle system experience highly desira

This position will support the Plant Controller in the direct supervision of the day-to-day general accounting functions and coordination month end closing process, and daily/weekly monthly financial reporting. Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts, and the analysis of operational results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Investigate standard variances.
- Perform manufacturing analysis.
- Assist in preparation of manufacturing production rates
- Complete monthly BU reporting -LIFO, Survey's, bridges, NFI's, absorption
- Assist in tax documentation preparation.
- Perform Sarbanes Oxley (ASAT) testing.
- Assist in calculating and planning cost reduction initiatives.
- Evaluate Labor Reporting
- Assist and oversee the General Accounting and Cost Accounting functions such as product costing, daily variance analysis, capital management and financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly business review package.
- Review/perform account reconciliations.
- Participate in daily reporting, daily checkbook and OT review.
- Assist/participate in physical inventories of product inventory and fixed asset inventory.
- Business unit/corporate requests.
- Assist in monthly finance close.
- Support management financial requests for information through detail analysis and reporting.
- Drive the operating budget process.
- Assist controller in forecasting/ budgeting as needed.
- Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
- Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions.
- Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor.
