Position Purpose:
As the steward of continuous plant financial analysis, you will utilize factual data and financial analysis tools to ensure ongoing plant profitability optimization.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Establish and maintain the integrity of cost accounting models.
2. Conduct inventory valuation.
3. Monitor cycle count activities to ensure compliance with Corporate Inventory policies and procedures.
4. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Assist in the preparation of plant financial statements, variance reporting, and comprehension of financial data.
6. Coordinate and finalize annual audits.
7. Review and uphold internal controls and related documentation.
8. Aid in the annual budget process and year-end audit, as needed.
9. Prepare product costing, monthly profitability reports, waste reports, and ad hoc cost analyses.
10. Assume additional responsibilities as required.
11. Fulfill related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
2. CPA-CMA or CA preferred, or actively pursuing certification.
3. Experience in Costing, Cost Analysis, and Inventory financial controls.
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
5. Familiarity with Shop Floor and Management Execution Systems (MES) is advantageous.
6. Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of professional interaction at all organizational levels.
7. Adaptability to evolving requirements and adeptness in prioritizing to meet deadlines.
8. Proficient in working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and adeptness at multitasking and priority management.
10. Effective interpersonal communication skills.
11. Capacity for holistic problem-solving and strategic thinking.
