Overview:
Brightview Senior Living is seeking to hire a full-time financial analyst. The company is growing, profitable and has emerged as an industry innovator and leader in Senior Living. This is a hands-on position will work hand-in-hand with the Brightview Senior Living senior executive team with wide-ranging analysis and thoughtful problem solving.
Responsibilities:- Conduct periodic and ad hoc analysis of financial data to assist Senior Management in reaching conclusions and making business decisions.
- Support the annual budgeting and reforecast process for communities and corporate entities through building assumption tables, updating models, creating reporting, analyzing outputs, and answering field related questions.
- Create stub-year budgets in conjunction with on-site teams for the new communities opening outside of the annual business planning cycle.
- Develop and update various operations related analysis.
- Synthesize large amounts of data to support cross-functional teams.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends, analyzing causes, identifying risks and/or opportunities arising from variations within the budget.
- Support construction and development related analysis.
- Assist with the compilation of quarterly reporting and cash flows.
- Report quarterly results of corporate entities and support related reforecast and analytic efforts.
- Write custom Excel templates as needed to support data analysis.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance/Accounting to support the Business Intelligence tool and process within the organization.
- Master and optimize core software Yardi programs in use at Brightview for purposes of analysis.
- Support problem solving in the field and home office as unanticipated issues are identified.
- Analyze and interpret on-going or one-time results to identify trends, concerns and opportunities.
- Create documents, reports and summary presentations based on analysis.
- Support the annual valuations and projections of Brightview’s capital funds, through updating cash flows, debt amortizations, refinance assumptions, capital expenditures, cap rate sensitivities, and supporting analysis.
- Assist with the compilation of market surveys and competitor analysis.
- Periodically assist with template creation and the calculation of sales commissions.
- Support the Brightview equity funds, including waterfall calculations, capital calls, distributions, expense holdbacks, investor transfers, IRR, and reporting and analysis requirements.
- Support core investment module software and related technology projects.
Salary Range:USD $90,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.Compensation Disclosure:
The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a financial discipline and a minimum of two-three years’ progressive experience in financial analysis.
- Exceptional proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel applications; working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem solving skills to resolve complex issues.
- Ability to independently interpret data, formulate models, draw conclusions and make recommendations based on those conclusions.
- Exceptional analytical skills and detail orientation.
- Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with and present information to associates at all levels and a wide range of business partners.
- Self-started with an ability to work with strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, financial results, and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and individually.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
