Summary:
The Accountant/Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in our financial activities and well-being. Their primary responsibilities will include conducting general accounting activities, preparing monthly financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accurate financial recording. Additionally, the Accountant/Financial Analyst will be completely involved in month-end balance sheet reconciliation processes, P&L forecasting and weekly cash forecasting.
Salary Range - $60,000 to $70,000/yearDuties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct general accounting and related duties for the organization.
- Prepare monthly balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely financial recording.
- Code invoices, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly and address inquiries from banks.
- Verify and process payment of invoices associated with accounts payable.
- Responsible for all invoicing and accounts receivable/collections process.
- Drive automation of processes to gain efficiency.
- Assist the CFO and/or external auditors during the annual review.
- Review and reconcile tax forms filed with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Stay updated on acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience using accounting software; QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho experience is a plus.

- Teamwork: Works well with others in the Company including employees, coworkers, and contractors, clients, and vendors/partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or 4-8 years of equivalent experience required.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least three years of professional experience as an accountant or auditor a plus.
