A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FINANCIAL AID LEADER / FINANCIAL AID ADVISOR
As a Financial Aid Leader / Financial Aid Advisor, you arrive each day motivated and energized to help our cosmetology students achieve their dreams for higher education! You create and implement a financial aid plan that supports our culture, the admissions process, and our future professionals. Your organizational skills are essential as you prepare and gather all paperwork pertaining to grants and loans. You counsel and advise students and their families on financial aid eligibility and guidelines to create a personalized plan. Additionally, you collect student payments and oversee disbursements.
By conducting regular inspections of files for compliance with all federal and state regulations, you are able to keep all necessary items up to date and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Everything you do is driven by your desire to go above and beyond for our future professionals to assist them in their cosmetology goals. Each day you know that you are making a difference by helping our students achieve higher education.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
- Computer and data entry skills
- Accounting or banking experience
- Customer service savviness
