The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Financial Advisor to join our team. Here at MassMutual Greater Los Angeles you will own your book of business, attract new clients, and nurture those client relationships. As a new team member, you will provide personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals. Job Responsibilities:
- Cultivate client relationships
- Advise clients on investment strategies, aligning with their financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our products and services to recommend suitable solutions based on client needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to build long-lasting relationships
- Monitor financial market trends to ensure that the client's plans are effective.
- Complying with all industry rules and regulations, and with the company's policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience as a Financial Advisor or similar role.
- Health and Life License
- Successful completion of FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
Nice-to-Haves:
- CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification
- Understanding and experience with financial planning software
- Proven track record of success in a sales role
- Experience with CRM software, ideally Salesforce.
- Passionate about providing excellent client service.
