We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and driven Permanent Financial Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. You will play a critical role in analyzing financial data and providing valuable insights to our leadership team. You will be responsible for understanding financial trends, providing budgeting support, and creating accurate forecasting models. With your expertise in financial analysis and strategic thinking, you will be a key contributor to our financial planning and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
2. Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
3. Assist with annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
4. Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability.
5. Coordinate with different teams to gather and interpret financial information.
6. Conduct comparative analysis and market research to forecast market trends.
7. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - articulating the "story" implied by the analytical findings.
8. Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc reporting.
9. Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2. 5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.
3. High proficiency in financial modelling techniques and advanced knowledge of Excel.
4. Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
5. Good business acumen with a strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
6. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
7. Strong fluency with financial forecasting software.
8. Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
10. Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.
