Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate as a key team member in a wide range of financial accounting activities including:
- Monthly reconciliations and close processes
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Management of financial data
- Initially serve as a backup and learn the essential functions of various positions within the department, with the expectation to eventually assume full responsibility of these roles
- Manage specialized accounting tasks related to:
- Fixed assets and depreciation
- Aviation department administration
- Indirect cost allocations to jobs and departments
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts and post routine journal entries
- Assist with construction job setup and maintenance in the Company’s ERP system
- Develop and assist with accounting technology and process improvement initiatives
- Support department in responding to financial reporting requests
- Participate in ad hoc financial accounting projects on a routine basis
Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Eagerness to learn and apply new software and technologies, including artificial intelligence and robotic process automation tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a professional setting
- Desire to serve others in a way that models the company’s values
- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of managing tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
