Finance Specialist (Subcontract Administrator) - Everblue

Location: Hybrid/Davidson, NC (Travel within North Carolina required)

Role Overview:

The Subcontract Administrator is responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring program budgets, contracts, and subcontracts
• Training subcontractors on reporting and billing requirements
• Reviewing and validating invoices to ensure compliance with deliverables
• Verifying that payments are made only for properly performed work

This role ensures effective financial management and contractual compliance throughout the subcontracting process, maintaining the integrity of project budgets and deliverables.

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of subcontracts administration experience
• Experience with various contract types (T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursable/Award Fee, Fixed Price)

Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience in Federal Government contracting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong analytical and math skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency FAR supplements
• Understanding of cost accounting principles
• Familiarity with procurement policies and procedures
• Ability to conduct price and cost analysis
