Job Description:
- **** is looking for an Infrastructure Accounting Analyst, Data Center to join the team in Austin, Texas.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work well with cross functional teams, provide accounting and process guidance for decision making, as well as being able to manage a significant portion of ***’s infrastructure investment on our balance sheet. You need to recognise how to strike a balance on getting the details right while still moving fast enough to support the rapid business growth.
- The candidate must be a highly driven, high energy, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels.
- Manage the accounting for several data center construction projects from record to report including responsibility for month end close processes and SOX controls
- Own multiple balance sheet accounts and the corresponding sub-ledger for varying levels of complexity
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Infrastructure Business Partners to understand the broader business objectives, develop processes jointly and provide accounting guidance.
- Identify process gaps and independently develop and implement solutions.
- Provide support to finance management and other cross functional partners as needed. This includes ad hoc financial analysis, technical analysis, and special projects
- Excellent team player who is adept at working as part of a larger team located in different locations
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of financial statement auditing, financial accounting, or similar experience
- Experience analyzing large data sets and working with business partners to effect changes
- Experience in optimizing or re-designing existing processes resulting from business needs
- Big 4 audit experience and CPA
- Experience with fixed assets
- Experience with construction or public accounting
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
