As we strive to empower people to create and share the sum of all human knowledge, we are seeking a Finance Project Manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and executing processes to streamline internal reporting and forecasting, while also facilitating strategic finance projects. We're looking for someone with a blend of analytical, operational, and project management skills, coupled with the ability to foster collaborative relationships across teams and effectively communicate amidst managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
Role Overview
As the Finance Project Manager, you'll be part of a close-knit team managing the Foundation's planning, analysis, and internal reporting processes. Working closely with all departments within the Foundation, you'll serve as a strategic partner to Executive Management. Collaborating with a diverse group of finance professionals, engineers, and creatives, you'll contribute to our collective mission of changing the world. If you're an innovative problem solver with a knack for setting up processes rooted in a deep understanding of financial workflows and reporting systems, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Project & Process Management:
- Project-manage financial reporting and forecasting processes, overseeing project calendars, action items, and coordinating roles & responsibilities.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, develop agendas, track project deliverables, and provide bi-weekly status updates.
- Improve communication and cohesion among teams and departments by enforcing information flows.
- Document FP&A team's procedures and best practices across all major workstreams.
Business and Financial Analytics & Reporting:
- Lead the preparation of Board and Executive financial reports and presentations.
- Deliver insightful analysis supporting strategic decision-making.
- Analyze cost drivers and macro-economic trends within a globally distributed workforce.
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Program or Project Management, Business Analytics, Finance, or similar.
- Experience in building scalable processes for financial reporting and planning activities.
- Understanding of financial reporting systems and system integration requirements.
- Ability to establish clear systems for project participation across multiple teams and departments.
- Experience in managing projects using Asana or similar project management and progress tracking tools.
- Comfortable using financial systems (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning) and providing data analysis for problem-solving.

Additional Information
For U.S. applicants, the anticipated annual pay range for this position is US$67,473 to US$102,368, with adjustments based on factors such as cost of living. For applicants outside the US, pay will be adjusted to the country of hire. Compensation is based on skills, experience, and location.
