- Seated in Finance, this progressive and innovative team is comprised of approximately 40 dynamic payroll professionals based out of AMER, APAC and EMEA geographies, responsible for payroll operations, accounting, and employment tax.
- We trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams, and this role can be performed remotely in most locations in the country of employment.
- We are looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to join our Global Payroll Team.
- Reporting to the Sr Payroll Manager of North America (NAMER), the Payroll Tax Analyst will be an integral part of the team as post process expert in Accounting, Tax and Compliance.
- Tax Analyst’s own the Payroll Tax Management system(s) and related services that oversees the company tax portfolio and master tax data to ensure the business is appropriately set up for withholdings of all people’s location, compensation regulatory systems across local, state, federal, and other government jurisdictional requirements.
- You will monitor compliance across labor regulations, income tax, mobility, equity, and other compensation to ensure policies and payroll system(s) adhere to the diverse types of tax treatment. You will manage the quarter end and year end reconciliations and tax statement validations (W-2, T-4, etc.). You will regularly analyze financial data and provide feedback, input and coordination to cross pillar and cross functional teams.
- You will work with advisory services, internal and external control teams, and government agencies.
- Candidates must have a solid understanding of payroll fundamentals, tax, and other wage deductions.
- As an experienced payroll tax analyst, you will apply your knowledge and skills of data output analysis from the Client Smart Compliance and Client GV systems to validate function and accuracy, performing audits using data analysis tools. You will use your employee and stakeholder service skills to provide excellent oral and written communication to answer payroll tax, GL inquiries, manage the ticketing queue related to tax and GL and provide support to the company workforce, timely responses and tracer follow up.

- Ensure all payroll post-processes are documented, performed, and reviewed continually in line with tax deadlines and requirements, tax governance, internal and external policies, laws, and best practices.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills and techniques in audit and validation to deliver accurate payroll support.
- Payroll Integration technology and automation
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and the ability to perform and deliver in tight deadlines.
- 4+ years of payroll experience
- BA degree in accounting or related field or equivalent job experience
- Experience with multi-state tax U.S. and Canada Payroll(s)
- Advanced usership in Microsoft Excel
- Strong audit and validation skills
- Interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication
- Successful track record of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Detail oriented, reliable, pragmatic, and proactive
- Public company experience preferred
- Experienced user of Workday HCM (Human Capital Management)
- Experienced user of ServiceNow CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
- Experienced user of Client Global View, SAP, and Streamline Payroll Systems
- System integration and implementation experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
