Job Details
Overview:
Manage financial operations for real estate assets, focusing on budgeting, financial reporting, and portfolio management to optimize performance.
Up to 25% travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for the property portfolio.
- Manage accounting for construction projects and ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, tenant billing, and rent collection.
- Conduct variance analysis and maintain the general ledger.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide financial insights for property management and investment decisions.
- Manage cash flow and collaborate with 3rd party property managers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years in real estate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice to Haves:
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience with real estate accounting software (MRI, NEXUS).
- Advanced Excel skills.
