Title: Finance Manager
Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and support key initiatives within a dynamic division. The role involves managing financial processes, preparing forecasts, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure effective financial management. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, analytical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a key finance contact for central overheads within the division.
Manage and develop one or more event accountants, fostering team growth and performance.
Deliver management accounting reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
Oversee core financial processes, including annual planning, quarterly updates, and monthly forecasts.
Partner with functional teams to monitor spending and forecast financial performance.
Conduct analyses of operating results compared to plans, prior periods, and forecasts.
Prepare forecasts, budgets, and multi-year financial plans while analyzing revenue, expenses, and capital trends.
Maintain financial models to account for changes in economic factors, resource adjustments, and operational efficiencies.
Act as an onsite finance representative, ensuring finance plays a central role in strategic decision-making.
Focus on operating expenses while supporting broader financial team initiatives.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA, ACA, or MBA preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
Background in events or hospitality industries.
Strong leadership skills and accountability for team and individual performance.
Proficiency in financial statements, reporting, and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desired Skills:
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business challenges.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments.
Collaborative team player with the ability to prioritize effectively.
