We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and accounting. If you are a seasoned finance professional with a strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company's financial operations, including AP and AR, to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Lead the year-end close process and full close cycle accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a regular basis.
- Provide audit support, including preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the management level.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A CPA or CFA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Experience with AP and AR, monthly reporting, financial analysis, annual budgeting, year-end close, full close cycle accounting, ledger maintenance, balance sheet management, and audit support.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in a managerial role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
