Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations within the company, including but not limited to, FP&A, monthly reporting, financial analysis, and financials.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analyses.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division, and weekly cash flow by division.
- Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends, analyzing change and advising accordingly.
- Formulate strategic and long-term business plans, researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with other financial or accounting software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to produce accurate and timely reports.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
