About the Job
A large global capital industrial equipment manufacturer providing materials processing solutions to customers worldwide is looking for a Finance Manager for the Louisville, KY office. This position will report to the Finance Director, manage a team of six, and support multiple brands. Responsibilities include financial reporting, analysis, planning, controls, costing, inventory, and support in manufacturing. As a member of the management team, this role is pivotal in setting and executing strategy to achieve company objectives. Highlighted Duties:
- Manage monthly and quarterly close process
- Site reporting and assistance covering key performance indicators, forecasting, and budgets
- Use of Oracle ERP, Excel, and additional systems/programs
- SOX review, compliance, and testing
- Manage sales administration function (sales and inventory pipeline management, order processing, and sales compliance)
- Assist with data input, tracking, weekly reporting, working capital updates, and cost trackers
- Prepare month end inventory and order backlog reports
- Cost and analysis support (including standard cost maintenance, and new year standards roll)
- Support Finance Director with various projects and ad hoc reporting
Highlights Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar required
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial role at a large manufacturing corporation
- Strong working knowledge of internal control processes and Sarbanes-Oxley required
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills needed to effectively convey/present information to others at all levels
- A problem solver with a natural curiosity who excels at “out-of-the-box” thinking
- Advanced Excel use and ERP system experience
- Up to 15% annual travel (including internationally)
