Job Title: Finance Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Financial Operations and Reporting:
- Deliver comprehensive financial services to assigned Business Units.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, develop annual budgets, create monthly forecasts, and perform variance analyses.
- Policy Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure adherence to company and business units financial policies, internal controls, and procedures.
- Oversee Business unit audits and manage timely submission of tax filings.
- State and Federal Compliance:
- Develop expertise in financial management specific to assigned states.
- File all required state and statutory financial reports.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as a financial advisor to charter or district partners, boards, and officers.
- Provide strategic financial insights and guidance as needed.
- Project Leadership:
- Act as project manager for local and corporate financial initiatives, coordinating efforts across departments to achieve objectives.
- Funding and Grants:
- Prepare applications and submissions for state and federal funding programs.
- Respond to funding audits, prepare interim financial reports, and pursue additional grant and funding opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of 1-2 employees.
Required Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of senior-level financial analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Expertise in ERP systems, particularly in financial applications (Oracle ERP experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Exceptional analytical and research capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
