Essential Responsibilities
- Direct managerial oversight and responsibility over junior members of the team.
- Work in a cross-functional team with marketing, sales, operations, and strategy to implement corporate initiatives and forecast plans.
- Assist in the evaluation of the company financial improvements and capital structure enhancements.
- Support rationalization of cost allocation methods and support ERP (via Microsoft Dynamics Nav) roll-out.
- Interact closely with Plant Managers and Operational Leaders.
- Integrate budgets/forecasts with financial models to produce projected financial statements and other critical financial information.
- Review associated financial analysis for accuracy and viability.
- Assist with evaluation of capital project economics and potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Develop understanding of capital markets (equity and debt).
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial analytics, reporting & capabilities within the finance team and accounting functions.
- Develop a robust industry understanding inclusive of learning sessions in the field.
- Develop a thorough and technical knowledge of the accounting close process and workflows.
- Manage, train, develop, and mentor junior team members.
- Attend and pass company training courses deemed necessary for professional development.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or related graduate degree preferred
- Three (3) or more years of finance and/or accounting experience required
- One (1) or more years of management experience required
- Previous experience in financial services (investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or similar financial services) strongly preferred
- Experience working with public companies preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of valuation modeling and analysis; ability to build a 3-statement model required
- Robust understanding of operating metrics and field operations exposure
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics Nav)
- Strong communication skills
- A self-starter, self motivated, self disciplined and performance driven Demonstrate a superior history of academic and/or extracurricular achievement
- Demonstrate interest in management, financial analysis, strategic development, operations, and unconventional oil & gas and proppants
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience interacting with senior management and outside advisors
- Must have work hour flexibility to work with competing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to staff to support professional development and advancement towards career goals Travel (Domestic and International)

- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor
