Finance Manager QualificationsÂ
- Automotive Finance experience required 2 years minimum
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have exceptional confidence, interpersonal skills
- Friendly, people-oriented personality
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Experience with CDK software a plus
- Available to work required schedule
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- CDK and DealerTrack experience preferred
- Previous automotive finance experience preferred
Finance Manager ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Review customer credit applications
- Sell financing and insurance to customers
- Presents extend service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers
- Ensures necessary documentation for each deal is complete by utilizing a deal checklist
- Work closely with sales team, maintains effective employee relations
- Acts as liaison between the customer and the lending institution
- Ensures adherence to Finance and insurance reporting requirements
- Maintains Customer Service Index at or above established standards
- Participates in required training
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
