Finance Manager
Location: Dallas, TX

The purpose of the finance manager’s role is to work with the finance team to ensure the financial stability of the organization by providing expert financial analysis and strategic guidance. The selected candidate will be tasked with evaluating the overall financial performance of the parent and operating subsidiaries, developing complex budgets, and advising senior management on financial strategies. This role is critical in identifying financial risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the corporate decision-making processes.
By collaborating with different departments, the finance manager will help align the group’s financial goals with its overall business objectives. Expertise in financial planning and risk management contributes significantly to the organization’s long-term success and sustainability.
It will be important for the candidate to have experience working in a dynamic business environment that involves private equity structures, holding company/subsidiaries and multi-national transactions. Additionally, experience working across multiple currencies and in the insurance industry is a major plus.
Key Duties
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecast future financial performance, and monitor variances against budget.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
• Investment Management: Oversee investment portfolio, evaluate potential investment opportunities, and manage asset allocation.
• Cost Control: Implement cost-saving measures and monitor expenses to optimize profitability.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential financial risks, including market fluctuations, credit risk, and regulatory compliance issues.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash inflows and outflows, manage working capital, and ensure adequate liquidity.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other departments to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, assigning tasks and overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.
Required Skills
• Accounting Expertise: Thorough understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting.
• Financial Modeling: Proficiency in financial modeling software to create projections and scenario analysis.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team of finance professionals.

• Software: Proficiency with ERP enterprise accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central a plus) with advanced experience in Microsoft Office 365 / Excel
